A special highlight was RETSCH’s participation in the international workshop “Native Brazilian plants as a source of innovative raw materials for a sustainable cosmetic use” on July 1, 2025, organized by Professor Jörg Rinklebe at Bergische Universität Wuppertal.

Researchers and industry representatives discussed the potential and challenges of using Brazilian plants for sustainable cosmetic products. Our contribution: Dr. Tanja Butt presented on the importance of efficient grinding and homogenization processes for reliable analytics, especially with challenging samples such as plant materials for pharmaceutical applications. Afterwards, participants had the opportunity to explore various RETSCH mills and sieve shakers in the mobile laboratory bus with Dr. Lena Weigold and DR. Tanja Butt directly in front of the event venue and discuss their specific requirements with our team. We are proud to have contributed our expertise to the success of this forward-looking event.
